New CCB head office, Sofia
The existing hotel building “Pliska” was transformed into administrative one, consisting of:
– Bank office, including bank safety vault, cash-desks;
– Front-offices of “Armeec” Insurance JSC and “CCB - Sila” pension fund;
– Reception halls;
– Office premises;
– IT center;
– Underground garage;
– Departmental facility for the feeding of the employees;
– All the necessary technical and storage premis.
The project for change of function and reconstruction provided the following execution of works, fulfilled by Technoimportexport JSC – main contractor:
• Building of underground garage to achieve access to the southeastern corner of of the parcel;
• A one-storey building (garage) in the southeastern corner of the parcel;
• A one-storey building of the southeastern facade (moving the showroom to the existing columns, bearing the second floor);
• Straightening of the northeastern facade by a one-storey building (shift of the window under the existing jetty on the second floor);
• Absorption the roof-terrace around the conference hall of the 15th floor (building of a new roof by metal construction, borne by the existing concrete beams);
• Sanitation of solid sections of the facade walls – a new tile ventilatable facade (+8 cm mineral wadding);
• New facade glazing – construction of suspended aluminum glazed facade;
• Replacement of roof coverings – heat isolation by tiles stone wadding 15 cm;
• Change of function for almost all premises;
• Torming new premises – crashing down the curtain walls and the construction of new ones;
• Forming sanitary blocks in close proximity to the elevators on every floor;
• Replacement of interior coverings;
• Replacement of the installations – Electro, HVAC;
• Construction of air-conditioning multi split system on direct evaporation – type VRF through- out the whole building;
• Construction of a new water-heating system, using the existing local heat station, which is new and in a good condition;
• Building the ventilation for the sanitary centres, underground park- ing and systems of overpressure in the staircase and elevator shafts and smoke ventilation from the storey corridors and underground parking, the banking office and the restaurant;
• Replacement of existing elevators – 3 new elevators “OTIS” Gen2® Lux (speed 2.50 m/sec), one of them with a starting switch;
• Replacement of the interior joinery works;
• Construction of suspended ceilings in a large part of the new- ly-formed premises;
• Repainting of all walls and ceiling;
• Replacement of lighting bodies;
• Replacement of furniture.
